The Malta Institute of Management and the University Students’ Council have agreed on a number of principles that aim to promote continuous professional development in management skills.
Both organisations recognise that if the young managers are to contribute towards the country’s economic growth through development of Maltese businesses and through the attraction of foreign direct investment, they need to ensure that they constantly remain abreast with the development of best management practices.
Thanks to the memorandum, the University, Junior College, the restoration school in Bighi and the medical school students will have free access to various publications of MIM; they will also be entitled to participate in activities of the institute and on certain occasions, they will be entitled to free student membership.
