Show In aid of The Richmond Foundation

Malta Independent Sunday, 15 April 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Friday 27 April

Following the success of the first performance of their show on 10 March, Gerry Attricks are now preparing for their second performance this year. This year's show, which is their usual blend of song, dance and comedy, comprises live and pre-recorded singing, as well as completely new dance and comedy routines. It is again produced and choreographed by Pat Jones with musical director Martin Neal and is being held on Friday 27 April at Attard Parish Hall in aid of the Richmond Foundation.

All the members of the cast are retired ex pats who have made Malta their home, with the youngest cast member aged 18. A very talented, young Maltese girl destined for great things will also be making a guest appearance. This year's production is a good mix of well known, lively, upbeat 60's style music and some great standard songs.

Gerry Attricks is a fully independent self-funding group that provides all its own music, costumes and props. It only performs for charitable organisations and the entire proceeds from ticket sales go to the charity concerned, as do all the profits from the raffles and refreshments. Last year's shows raised Lm2,000 for the charities concerned.

Tickets for the latest show are Lm3 each and Lm1.25 for children, and can be purchased directly from The Richmond Foundation, from Pat Jones on 2152 5778 or Jenny Franklin on 2158 3677.
