A man was yesterday charged with possessing and trafficking heroin as well as possession of cannabis in April 2004 and before.
Before Magistrate Lawrence Quintano, Kevin Spiteri, 26, from Birkirkara, pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.
Police Inspector Norbert Ciappara prosecuted while Dr Jose Herrera and Dr Veronique Dalli appeared for the accused.
