Digital Arts Expo

Malta Independent Sunday, 22 April 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

There has been an overwhelming response from local stakeholders, as well as overseas companies, to the initial campaign announcing the organisation of the first Digital Arts Expo. The interest shown by the general public, numerous companies and enthusiasts has confirmed the organisers’ belief in the demand for a Digital Arts Expo and will encourage them to ensure the highest professional standards for the event.

The positive response received has surpassed all the expectations of the local organisers and their partners in the UK and Germany, and they are working to ensure that all those who have made enquiries are given the information needed to ensure that the build up to their participation in this unique event is smooth and professional.

In order that all participants’ exigencies are met, an expanded version of the event website will be made available at www.digitalartsexpo.com in the coming weeks. New areas of the website will include a business section, where companies can register their interest and level of participation. In addition, assets such as scripts, 3D models and photographs will be available for download.

Registration for the first workshops and seminars will be available online at www.digitalartsexpo.com and those who register via the website will receive notification by email. As has already been announced, workshop and seminar placements are very limited, with many places already booked. Early registration for the remaining seats is therefore highly recommended.

The event magazine, although still under negotiation, is already receiving requests for the limited advertising spaces available. A launch date for this innovative publication will be announced shortly.
