WINunited.com last week announced the appointment of Ian Marshall as chief executive officer with immediate effect.
Ian Marshall, who is 33 and comes from Scotland, was International Business Development manager at Ladbrokes, the world’s leading betting and gaming company, from 2004.
Marshall previously worked for KPMG, Citigroup and the British Horseracing Board. He holds a B.Com from the University of Edinburgh and is also a Chartered Accountant.
Commenting on joining WINunited which, unusually for an online gaming company, is mostly comprised of female executives, Marshall said: “Taking WINunited to the next stage of its development is exciting, not only because we have a strong pipeline of products to launch over the coming months, but also because of the outstanding team driving the company.
“The BetBabes presenting the products, and the very personal and excellent service that WINunited strives to deliver to our customers every day, are a true representation of the people behind the website: a committed and dedicated team of professionals, which just so happens to include a lot of charming, attractive and clever women!”
WINunited founder and ex-model Yara Reichert said: “We are delighted to have Ian on board at such an exciting time for the company. WINunited are expanding into the UK and Europe and we look forward to benefiting from Ian’s international business and gaming experience.”
WINunited has a strong UK focus, offering markets on football, darts, rugby and cricket. Alongside the recently launched poker product, a full service online casino and sports news portal will soon give the customer an all-round gaming and entertainment experience.
WINunited.com is a fully licensed sports betting and gaming company established in 2005 and located in Malta. The company was founded by ex-model and businesswoman Yara Reichert. WINunited.com currently has 32 employees and is active in the international market, with customers in over 20 countries.
