Man Pleads guilty to threatening police officers

A man pleaded guilty yesterday to threatening and insulting three police officers at a St Paul’s Bay residence on Monday.

Victor Refalo, 42, from Zebbug, pleaded guilty to threatening the three police officers at a residence in Alka Street in St Paul’s Bay, assaulting and slightly injuring one of them, resisting the police and breaching the peace.

Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera postponed the case for judgement till Friday, by when she wants an updated copy of the man’s criminal record.

Police Inspector Paul Bond prosecuted.
