BOV Launches new travel-related special offers

Malta Independent Saturday, 28 April 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Bank of Valletta has announced the introduction of a range of special offers directed at adding value to its customers. The special offers are being launched to coincide with the Bank’s participation at the Amitex fair. In this regard, Bank of Valletta will be waiving the processing fees on all approved travel-related personal loan applications. Furthermore, the bank will also be waiving the initial fee for new credit and debit cards.

In addition, on new credit cards issued, the bank will be charging zero per cent interest on purchases effected using the card during the first six months. These

benefits are applicable to personal loans approved and cards issued by 31 July.

At Amitex, being held at the Naxxar Fair Grounds between Thursday and Sunday, Bank of Valletta will also be promoting a Travel Package designed for those who love to travel – and travel light.

“The BOV Travel Package combines a number of travel-related options that range from fully financing a dream holiday by means of a personal loan to simply enjoying the convenience, flexibility and peace of mind of a BOV card, said Mario Gouder, executive head responsible for personal finance at Bank of Valletta. “Alternatively, one may also opt to travel with a combination of both,”he said.

Mr Gouder went on to add: “Customers applying for either a travel-related personal loan or a BOV card will enjoy added value when taking advantage of the great offers being launched at this year’s Amitex fair.”

Bank of Valletta invites anyone wishing to obtain further information about their travel-related offers to visit the BOV stand (33B) at the Amitex Fair or any BOV branch in Malta and Gozo.

Product details can be obtained from the bank’s website www.bov.com, by sending an email to [email protected] or by calling the bank’s Customer Service Centre on 2131-2020 between Mondays and Saturdays, from 8am to 8pm (excluding bank and public holidays).

Loans are subject to normal lending criteria and final approval from a BOV branch.

The Lm7 levy is to be met by the customer.
