Malta Independent Monday, 14 May 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

MISCO has just issued the second edition of the Salaries and Benefits Report for the IT Sector. This report is compiled with the aim of providing senior management with information about the different remuneration packages paid within the Maltese IT industry.

Compiled over a four month period, spanning from January to April 2007, the Salaries & Benefits Report for the Information Technology Sector focuses on the salaries and benefits offered in ICT and non-ICT companies. This segmentation of information gives the end user a better idea of remuneration packages offered locally, thus permitting a more accurate positioning of the organisation within the market.

The twenty-one position titles covered by this study include: Systems Manager, Senior Software Developer, Operations/Services Manager, IT Engineer, Information Technology Manager, Systems Analyst, Business Development Manager, Systems Administrator, Quality Manager, Quality Analyst, Software Specialist, Software Support Executives, Technical Specialist/Architect, IT Consultant, Project Manager, Information Security Officer, Project Leader, Help Desk Officer, Junior Software Developer, Software Tester, and Software Developer.

Based on quality research and extensive knowledge acquired through MISCO’s involvement in human resources consultancy, this report provides users with a reliable, realistic and up-to-date picture of what companies are paying to recruit new employees or retain their present staff.

Copies of the report are available from the MISCO offices at the Fino Building, Notabile Road, Mriehel BKR3000. For more information please e-mail Anton Buttigieg on
