Four people were arrested by police in connection with the illegal sale of peptides, steroids, and other illegal substances in an operation which panned out over the last few days.

Police said that three men – a 32-year-old from Zejtun, a 36-year-old from Qormi, and a 49-year-old from Marsaskala – and a 33-year-old woman from Qormi were arrested.

Searches were carried out in Marsa, Msida, Zejtun, Qormi, and Marsaskala, police said.

2,100 units of the aforementioned illegal substances were found at these sites, together with around €8,000 in cash and electronic equipment.
