HSBC Participates in Caring Organisations Fair

Malta Independent Friday, 18 May 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 15 years ago

Corporate Social Responsibility has been at the forefront of HSBC Bank Malta’s ethos ever since it started operations in Malta. Over the years, it has launched three successful funds that have contributed significantly towards social cohesion in the areas of education, children, heritage and the environment.

HSBC’s commitment towards disadvantaged children is being showcased at the Caring Organisations Fair, being held at the Malta Trade Fair Grounds in Naxxar, until Sunday. The objectives of the HSBC Cares For Children Fund are the main highlights of HSBC’s attractive pavilion. The stand presents detailed information about the fund’s three main areas of work – those of education, recreation and rehabilitation.

“HSBC’s presence at the Caring Organisations Fair aims to serve as a catalyst for other organisations, institutions and businesses to follow suit and pitch in, in small and big ways, to generate sustainable development in Maltese society,” said Sally Robson, chief operating officer, HSBC Malta.
