Betfair Holdings (Malta) has obtained the ISO 27001:2005 certification. This confers on Betfair the very highest levels of governance and represents the new international standard for an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

With its headquarters in Hammersmith attaining certification in December 2006, Betfair becomes the first iGaming company to be certified globally. Betfair customers are guaranteed peace of mind as tight security and screening practices ensure that information does not fall into the wrong hands.

By attaining ISO 27001, Betfair is able to demonstrate its commitment to the integrity of its information systems, assuring its customers of optimum security for personal details.
