Calamatta Cuschieri and Co Limited, one of Malta’s foremost firms in the financial services sector, celebrated its 35th anniversary last month. Founded in 1972 by Alfred Calamatta, the company grew steadily over the years thanks to its excellent service and professional approach backed by the trust it has built with its loyal customer base.

Together with both local and foreign distinguished guests, clients, family and friends as well as members of the press, Calamatta and Cuschieri marked this date with a remarkable celebration held at the Hilton Portomaso Foyer. The event also coincided with the culmination of Alfred Calamatta’s 40-year stock broking career.

During the event, Alex Cuschieri, who has been a director of the firm since 1992, expressed heartfelt thanks to Mr Calamatta in appreciation and recognition of his contribution to the establishment of the company in 1972 and its subsequent successful growth. Mr Cuschieri also announced and welcomed Alan Cuschieri and Nick Calamatta, who will shortly be appointed directors. They will join fellow director Chris Saliba and himself in continuing their commitment to provide a specialised, high value, low cost and comprehensive service to their esteemed clientele.
