During a courtesy visit to the Minister for Gozo, the chairman of Bank of Valletta, Roderick Chalmers, said the bank could confirm a significant increase in business activity during the Notte Gozitana weekend. “Our card business was double the average of a typical weekend in May, a fact that highlights the business generating impact that these events had,” explained Mr Chalmers.

The bank’s chairman, together with CEO Tonio Depasquale, were in Gozo as part of the activities marking a week of activities that Bank of Valletta organised to underline its commitment to play an active role within the Gozitan community.
