The 20 songs for the 16th edition of the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza have been chosen and announced after an expert jury, under the observation of Horace D’Anastas, listened to all the 128 submitted songs.

During a press conference at the Golden Tulip Vivaldi, more details were given about the night of the final on 17 September. Claudia Faniello, winner of last year’s edition, will be guest on the main stage. During the interval, after all final songs are performed, local artist Tristan B, signed under the Italian label Icona Music, will perform during a 45-minute show alongside his guests, Ron and Ivana Spagna.

A new Net TV programme IndiFest will be broadcast as from Wednesday 4 July, promoting all 20 final songs. The programme, produced by Liliana Risiott, will be hosted by Louise Tedesco and Pierre Cordina, who will also be hosting the final night on

17 September.
