For the past seven years, Embassy has continued to honour its shoppers with great prizes on several occasions during the year with the philosophy that this will enhance loyalty, increase shopper satisfaction and add to the retail experience. During competitions, thousands of participation vouchers are deposited into a “hard working” competition box, with involvement from customers increasing steadily. Two finalists were announced every Saturday during the popular programme entertainment Showtime aired on national television, each finalist winning an Embassy Complex voucher worth Lm5 that could be spent anywhere within the complex. The grand draw for the bedroom took place during the Showtime programme on 2 June where Ms Phyllis Camilleri emerged as the lucky winner.
With the introduction of the CVA scheme for Valletta last month, and the abolishment of the Valletta licence for entering vehicles, shopping in Valletta has never been easier. With the option of free parking and shuttle service of Park and Ride or a reasonable charge (up to 30mins – free, following the first hour 35c/Euro0.82, additional 30mins – 35c/Euro0.82, maximum daily charge – Lm 2.80/Euro6.52) for parking spaces in the heart of the city which are now readily available, either way is hassle-free.
Leisure and entertainment in Valletta is also set to experience a boost. Those wishing to watch at movie at the Embassy Cinemas or choose alternative entertainment in the capital can park in the centre of the city absolutely free on weekdays after 6pm, Saturdays after 1pm and all day Sundays and Public Holidays – no V-licence is required.
