KRS Film Distributors have pleasure in announcing the 12th annual National Cinema Day scheduled to be held on Saturday 7 July.

On the day, cinemas in Malta will exhibit films from 9.30am until late night at a reduced price of Lm1.30 per person.

The two-screen Citadel

cinema in Gozo will have

afternoon and evening

performances only.

Besides other films, the following is the choice of children’s films showing on the day: Are We Done Yet? – family comedy, Shrek The Third – CGI animated comedy, Fantastic 4 – The Rise Of The Silver Surfer – action, Pirates Of The Caribbean – At World’s End – adventure comedy, Bridge To Terabithia – magical fantasy adventure, Spider-Man 3 – action based on the Marvel comic series, and Mr Bean’s Holiday – comedy.

Booking for films showing on National Cinema Day will open at the following cinemas on Monday: Eden Cinemas – St Julian’s, Embassy Cinemas – Valletta, Empire Cinemas – Bugibba, The New Sun City Cine Palais – Marsascala and Citadel Cinemas – Gozo.
