Three brand new five-a-side artificial turf pitches will soon be inaugurated at the De La Salle College.

The pitches were installed by All Sports International Ltd, building services contractors and synthetic turf installers, of Qormi, Malta.

Bro. Martin, who is also the director of the college, said the three pitches could also be converted into one big pitch, possible for nine-a-side football matches. He also said that beneath the surface, two large halls had also been included. These would serve to hold other events, not necessarily sports events.

Bro Martin said that the next project at the College will be the main stadium, which will also have a synthetic turf surface and which will include a six-lane athletics track.
