Over 250 small business owners and self-employed participated in the series of educational seminars organised by Bank of Valletta at its branches in Attard, Naxxar, Fgura, Qormi, San Gwann and Zebbug. These evening meetings with the theme, “Open for Business”, were held in collaboration with the Parliamentary Secretariat for Small Businesses and the Self-employed.

The small business owners and self-employed attending these seminars were addressed by a number of speakers who discussed various topics that relevant to business today. The euro, Malta Enterprise financing products, wealth management, legal issues on waste and the environment, BOV’s Micro Financing Package, licensing issues, trade finance, intellectual property, credit cards, e-commerce and bancassurance were among the topics discussed.

The participants also had the opportunity to engage in interesting discussions with the various speakers, making these seminars truly participative and relevant.
