An exciting new concept for Malta was launched by Tourism and Culture Minister Francis Zammit Dimech at the Black Pearl Restaurant in Ta’ Xbiex.
A very simple lifestyle concept, “Goodlife Malta”, which includes a voucher/coupon book and loyalty card, will boost the business of hotels, restaurants and retail outlets all over the Maltese islands, while offering customers savings in hundreds of restaurants, cafes, hotels and leisure venues all over Malta and Gozo.
John Pressgrove, Chief Executive of London-Based Fairfax International which is the parent company of the project said, “While we have created hundreds of individual voucher, discount and membership concepts in 23 countries, this project is our most ambitious yet – requiring the most planning, research and investment. Knowing we would launch the concept in two countries initially, we always knew Malta would be one of them. When Fairfax originally brought the concept of hotel privilege memberships to Malta, we were amazed at the enthusiastic response. We are certain the reception of the Goodlife concept will be just as enthusiastic.”
The concept has been operating with massive success in various countries all over the world including North America, Australia and the Middle East for many years, distributing millions of books worldwide.
The Goodlife books will be sold annually throughout Malta and Gozo to thousands of local households as well as the tourist market. The books will be available through bookshops, travel operators as well as via charities thus raising funds for worthwhile causes.
Any business interested in increasing their customer numbers will benefit from being part of Goodlife, without incurring any costs whatsoever. Every book will contain over 200 pages of vouchers offering buy-one-get-one-free offers and other fantastic discounts. The book will include an individually numbered loyalty card and will be supported by a website including more fantastic deals and well as outlining the locations where the discounts are available and other information.
With more than 200 pages and over 500 offers, the book will be divided into:
• Pleasure and Leisure offers (which will include cinemas, adventure parks, water sports, museums, etc.);
• Hotels and Travel including hotels, airlines and car rentals;
• Shopping including all types of retails outlets; and
• Nightlife including bars, clubs and night-time fun.
Goodlife is created in association with London-based Fairfax International which has been creating hundreds of successful membership concepts world-wide since 1989.
