To mark the official opening of the bank’s new Commercial Business Centre in Qormi, a large number of HSBC Bank Malta employees donated blood at a mobile unit set up

specifically near the new premises.

“In line with the bank’s corporate responsibility initiative, we encourage these gestures of support by our employees,” said Human Resources head Mark Sims. “It is our intention to organise blood donation activities on a regular basis to help address the shortage of blood supplies.”

The Blood Donation mobile unit regularly visits various areas to reach people who find it difficult to get to the Malta National Blood Transfusion Centre in Pietá.
