HSBC Bank Malta has renewed its commitment towards Kunsill Studenti Universitarji (KSU), with a contribution of Lm15,000 for the new academic year, and additional financial services.
The bank’s commitment to KSU is based on the belief that student representation at the university is imperative. Over the years, it has contributed more than Lm120,000 towards KSU’s operations. KSU’s remit includes representation on important debates, policy-making, quality assurance and reform proposals that affect student life.
“HSBC believes that student life should be complemented with extra curricular activities that empower young people, contribute to their development and personal growth and, of course, also provide for fun and entertainment,” said HSBC channel management unit head Ray Briffa.
HSBC’s sponsorship will be helping KSU strengthen its
services to students by helping them in matters of employability, entrepreneurship, complaints and the provision of
opportunities and participation.
