Victor Refalo, Labour councillor of Zebbug Gozo, told The Malta Independent on Sunday that the van shown in a photo in this newspaper last week with his family nickname, Tal-Exka, clearly painted on its front, does not belong to him any more. He said he sold it some months ago.

Mr Refalo also denied that the two kiosks, also claimed to belong to him and shown in the picture, have anything to do with him. He said that if one were to check with the Zebbug local council, one would find out that the permits for the kiosks are not in his name or the applications for the electricity supply.
