A 27-year-old man from Gzira was charged yesterday with attempting to commit a theft from Malta International Airport on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Antonio Caruana pleaded not guilty to attempting to steal items from a suitcase at the airport before Magistrate Anthony Vella,
He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm1,000 (4,293EUR).
Police Inspector Jason Agius prosecuted and Legal Procurator Noel Bianco prosecuted.
