As part of InterContinental Malta’s social and environmental commitment to the community, a team of employees from the hotel recently lent a helping hand to the Ursuline Sisters at Angela House in Guardamangia.

Angela House is run by the Ursuline Sisters who take care of children aged three years and older. This residential facility is currently home to over 50 children all coming from less fortunate families.

Fifteen staff members volunteered to paint and clean the whole area of the newly-built gymnasium – an extension to the home’s much-needed facilities. The team spent a number of days painting and cleaning. The paint was kindly

sponsored by Macphersons Paints.

“Angela House provides a safe and structured environment in which children can successfully develop. One of the most fundamental aspects of being a child is practising sports, exercising and most importantly having fun and InterContinental Malta is delighted to be able to

help a little with the

construction of this gym,” said Mr Christopher Tabone, the hotel’s chief engineer.
