The 785 MEPs in the European Parliament learned more about Maltese art and culture during the “Malta Week” held during the plenary session in Strasbourg last week.

Organised by MEPs Simon Busuttil and David Casa, the event aims to increase Malta’s visibility in this European institution.

“The Malta Week revolves around three main events namely, an exhibition with photos of Malta’s World Heritage Sites and an artistic display by Maltese artists; a reception to mark the official opening of the exhibition which will celebrate Maltese food and drink, and a lunchtime concert featuring Maltese musicians and traditional Maltese folklore,” explained Dr Busuttil.
