Three of Malta’s top contemporary artists Vince Briffa, Austin Camilleri and Pierre Portelli have been joined by another three artists from Feldkirch in Austria, Roland Adlassnigg, Arno Egger and Harald Gfader in the first leg of a collaborative exhibition entitled 6collabor8 which opened at the Palais Liechtenstein on 30 August.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the German philosopher and art historian Dr. Peter Regelmann and showcases the most recent video, installation, sculpture, printmaking and painting works by the six artists.

The exhibition will subsequently travel to the Citadel in Gozo between 28 October and the end of November. 6collabor8 in Gozo will be inaugurated by the President, Dr. Edward Fenech Adami. A 60-page full colour catalogue will accompany the Gozo exhibition presenting the six artists’ works with essays by Dr Regelmann and Austrian curator Karlheinz Pichler among others.
