President Eddie Fenech Adami, accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Michael Frendo, yesterday arrived in Algeria for a two-day official visit.

During the visit, President Eddie Fenech Adami is having talks with Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, president of the National Council, Abdelkader Bensalah, president of National People’s Assembly Abdelaziz Zairi, and Head of Government Abdelaziz Belkhadem.

A business delegation made up of 23 businessmen and representatives of government and commercial entities are accompanying the President. They are participating in a business forum and will be holding one-to-one meetings with their Algerian counterparts. The President will return to Malta today.
