Leo Brincat Demands answers

Malta Independent Wednesday, 12 September 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Leo Brincat, MLP spokesman for foreign affairs and information technology, said that over three days after he had called on the foreign minister to reply to questions which had a national interest and which affected taxpayers, the ‘ministry of silence’ had chosen to remain silent.

Mr Brincat said he would continue raising his questions about consensus in foreign policy, about equipment of the now inoperational radio Voice of the Mediterranean, the former Maltese ambassador in Ireland, the letter of the President to the Libyan leader, the speech by Malta’s ambassador on his presentation of credentials at the White House, lobbying for the post of Commonwealth secretary general, the refurbishment costs of Dar Malta in Brussels, and the renting out of part of the building, and the prospects for the setting up of the Mediterranean economic forum.
