After last year’s success and the encouragement by several artists who are members of the Arts Directory Malta, the second edition of the Arts Directory Collective Exhibition will be held at the Malta Society of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce, Palazzo De La Salle, 291, Republic Street Valletta.

Twenty-six artists specialised in various genres have confirmed their participation. The exhibition will be open from 29 September to 11 October 2007.

“This year we moved from St Venera to the Capital City of Valletta,” said the exhibition coordinator Robert Cefai.

“We are holding this collective exhibition in autumn so that it will form part of Notte Bianca event to be held in Valletta on 6 October. This will give the opportunity to hundreds of people present in Valletta to see the latest work of a selection of contemporary Maltese artists.”

The Arts Directory came into being three years ago, with the scope of facilitating contact between the Maltese public and various Maltese artists, including singers, composers, lyricists, musicians and many others.
