Dancescape, an exhibition of dance portraying the various dance genres, will be held at Hastings Gardens, Valletta, as part of Notte Bianca Lejl Imdawwal. Under the artistic direction of Clarissa Borg, this 45-minute show, starting at 8pm, will be repeated at 9pm, 10pm and 11pm.

Hastings Gardens will be transformed into a performing art gallery wherein the dancers will take the audience through a journey of dance styles. Three stage areas will be used consecutively and repeatedly, so that the standing audience will move from one stage area to another to watch the entire dance performance.

Eleven choreographic works will be featured. These are by various leading Maltese choreographers: Estelle Sant, Daphne Lungaro, Theresa Lungaro Mifsud, Diane Portelli, Alison White, Corinne Turner, Kurt Castillo, Jes Camilleri, Justin Roy Barker and Kristina Schranz. Thirty dancers will take the audience through a dance journey featuring contemporary dance, flamenco, hip hop, modern ballet, cabaret, tap, belly dancing, poi dancing, Maltese folklore, jazz dance and break dance.
