The Consulate of the Czech Republic in Malta yesterday held a Malta Business Meeting at the Corinthia Towers Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic, which included a morning and evening session.

The morning session “Malta – Your Trading Partner” was addressed by officials from Malta Enterprise, the Malta Tourism Authority and Air Malta. The afternoon session was dedicated exclusively to financial services, “Malta a financial Services Centre – Developments and Opportunities”, during which presentations were made by officials from the Malta Financial Services Authority, the Central bank of Malta, and various operators in the sector.

A similar event is planned to be held in Malta next year to celebrate 40 years of diplomatic relations between Malta and the former Czechoslovakia.
