IT Company 6pm Holdings plc is likely to join the stock market when it floats later this month. It is expected to be valued at around
GBP5 million.
Informed sources indicated that the final share price will probably be set once the company has met stockbrokers participating in the issue.
Mr. Ivan Bartolo, Mr. Alan West-Robinson and Mr. Steve Wightman currently own 100 per cent of the company and are expected to sell about 30 per cent of their stock. They have undertaken to hold a controlling stake for up to two years after the float.
No new capital is being raised as part of the dealings and the three founders of the company will receive around GBP1.5billion for the shares being sold. Dealings in the shares are expected to begin around 25 September, the Company said.
Ivan Bartolo, Executive Director and Chief Technical Officer of the Company said, “We are pleased to be announcing soon the publication of a prospectus and the price for the offer of shares in 6pm Holdings p.l.c. and we look forward to becoming a publicly quoted company and to welcome new investors to share in the Company’s success.”
The company’s valuation was benchmarked against the performance of UK information technology companies. This was expected as over 95 per cent of 6pm’s revenues are derived from UK based clients.
6pm currently employs 105 staff, had sales of GBP6.5 million in the year to December 2006. Revenues for the current year should be in line with last year but with a marked improvement in profitability.
Charts Investment Management Service Limited is sponsoring broker to the company. The issue will be an Intermediaries Offer and little or no marketing of the shares will be made in the media. Instead stockbrokers are expected to contact clients who traditionally invest in local equities and place the shares accordingly amongst their respective clients.
