Martha Fenech and Aiden Cauchi were recently crowned Miss Maltese Beauty/Mr Maltese Elegant during the final night held at the Castello Zamittello, Mgarr. Many readers will probably remember Martha from last year as the cover girl for our weddings magazine I DO.

The runners-up were Desphina Zahra and David Abela and in third place were Christine Mifsud and Neil Bonello.

The event, organised by Modelle International under the direction of Sue Rossi was compered by Mr Charles Saliba.

The guests were welcomed with Southern Comfort Cocktails prepared with different mixers by Mr Richard Ponds, thanks to Charles Grech Ltd.

The participants modelled casual and elegant wear, sponsored by Model Elegance of Qormi while the males were sponsored by Cefai Formal wear.

Hair was by Cut Coiffeur using Vitality hair products and make-up was by Complexions Nail & Beauty Salon using Pupa make-up.

Riasa Newell and Andre Grech won Most Photogenic and Deborah Mifsud and Tyron Laudi won Best Appearance. Southern Comfort presented gifts to Tyron Laudi and Riasa Newell.

A hair show with a “Charleston” theme was presented to the audience by Cut Coiffeur using models from Modelle International.
