Led by France’s Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, Herve Novelli, a high level French delegation paid a visit to the Dubai Internet City Community Zone at GITEX Technology Week 2007, to discuss possible trade and commercial opportunities between France and the UAE.

The delegation was received by Abdullatif Al Mulla, CEO of TECOM Investments, Jamal Abdulsalam, Executive Director of Dubai Internet City, Fareed Abdulrahman, Executive Director of SmartCity, Ismail Al Naqi, Director of Dubai Outsource Zone and Ali Bin Toweih, Director of Enpark, The Energy and Environmental Park.

Al Mulla said: “We were quite honoured with the visit and enjoyed discussing the successful track record of the TECOM Investments module and entities.”

Al Mulla highlighted the significant impact that the clusters have achieved through their overall contribution to Dubai’s economy. Al Mulla also discussed upcoming oversees projects under the SmartCity mandate.
