An 18-year-old youth pleaded not guilty to slightly injuring and damaging a car in Senglea.

Ryan Bartolo, from Senglea, was charged with slightly injuring Jason Delia and causing up to Lm500 worth of damage to his car on 31 March in Senglea at around 6.30pm.

He also pleaded not guilty to assaulting Jason and Anthony Delia and pushing Jason Delia with the intention of hurting or insulting him.

Mr Bartolo also pleaded not guilty to using vulgar language in public.

Police Inspector Alexander Grech prosecuted while Dr Franco Debono and Dr Charmaine Cherrett appeared for the accused.
