No one was injured yesterday when an armed man entered a lotto booth and asked the booth operator to hand over the money.
The hold-up took place at 11.30am in Dun Karm Street, Birkirkara, which is more commonly known as the Birkirkara By Pass.
Duty Magistrate Lawrence Quintano, who was informed about the case, appointed several experts to assist him in the inquiry.
Police investigations are still under way.
