Bank of Valletta human resources executive head Noel Scerri, applauded the dedication of those involved in the summer school at the Park of Friendship and extended the BOV's support to the park.
During a visit to the Park of friendship, Mr Scerri said he hoped the BOV contribution would facilitate the genuine work being carried out on a daily basis at the park. The integrative approach of the summer school was worthy of praise and he encouraged the park to continue with the efforts aimed at those most in need.
Park fund raising manager Gordon Pace thanked BOV for its sponsorship and said that leisure education was at the centre of the summer school programme. The approach provided for integrative education and leisure for children with disability. This programme was structured around the strengths and abilities of the individual child to ensure benefit in terms of the child's holistic development, Mr Pace said.
