Crimsonwing To seek MSE listing

Malta Independent Sunday, 30 September 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

A software and business services company that has been in operation for just over 10 years is expected to seek a listing on the Malta Stock Exchange shortly.

Crimsonwing is a licensed distributor for large and complex software that manages anything from payroll to accounts to warehouse management and can cost anywhere between EUR100,000 and EUR1 million. Large companies using such software need someone to customise it, to train staff in how to use it and to upgrade the software from time to time.

Crimsonwing also specialises in providing services for E-Business through consultancy. It offers modules for sales, marketing and customer service. One of its recent projects was a contract with Nedis, a Dutch company selling electronic components. This involved creating a web-based platform through which the company conducts most of its sales, and anyone clicking on a particular item would be informed about specifications and costs in their own language as well as postal costs to the country from which the website is being accessed.

It is expected that the shares will be floated in November.
