WasteServ Malta Ltd said it has commenced works on the Tal-Kus civic amenity site at Xewkija, which will be the fifth CA site in the country. It will enable Gozitans to dispose of bulky refuse while continuing to separate, recycle and re-use waste. In Malta there are three CA sites and the fourth will be ready by the end of the year.

The work on this site is being carried out according to the permits by the relevant authorities, and started after a long period, during which a number of reports and surveys were carried out on the land where the CA site will be located.
