Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said yesterday the Budget for 2008 will be presented on Monday 15 October. Speaking during the Parliament House Business Committee, he said Opposition Leader Alfred Sant will have his right of reply on the Budget on Monday 22 October, while the Prime Minister will once again give his reply on Wednesday 24 October.

Discussions on the Budget estimates will start on Thursday 23 October, with two discussions daily. The discussions are expected to last until Friday 2 November.
