Malta Dairy Products yesterday announced price increases on milk and ricotta products, attributing the price rise need to price increases of raw materials on the European markets.
Milk has gone up by 2c for the one-litre carton, and by 1c for the small carton. The price of rikotta has gone up by 30c per kilo.
The price of yogurt products remains unchanged – 14c for fruit yogurts and 11c for the natural yogurts. The company said the last price increase it had made was in 1994.
