Technotrans, a global leader in the supply of high-tech and eco-friendly products and services to the print and optical storage media industry, is to establish a regional base within the International Media Production Zone (IMPZ), a member of TECOM Investments, and the Middle East’s first free zone for the printing, publishing, packaging and graphic arts industries.

According to Shuaa Capital Research, the printing industry in the UAE is growing at 15 to 20 per cent annually. Currently, its total value is pegged at circa AED9 billion. Forecasts indicate the sector will generate about $1 trillion worth of business by 2008.

It offers complete solutions for ink supply systems, solvent recycling, dampening and filtration, as well as spray dampening and central chilling for press ancillaries.
