Melita Cable plc is pleased to announce that with immediate effect, all new customers signing up for the Melita Connect service as well as customers migrating from the analogue service to Melita Connect will get the Sports and Movie service for FREE until the end of the year.

This initiative is aimed at providing more customers with a taste of the premium content that is available on the Melita Digital platform. Melita offers one of the best sports channels available in Europe with a great selection of sports, especially European football and the best movie and US network series available for pay-TV.

“We have prepared a great TV campaign for the last months of the year,” commented Franco de Gabriele – Sales and Marketing manager. “By giving our Sports and Movies packages for free to new customers and those migrating from an analogue package more people will have access to premium content for a quarter of the year. We are positive that customers will see great value in this unique and exclusive content.”

In the second week of October, Melita is upgrading the service for its existing digital customers by adding 8 new channels on both Melita Active and Melita Connect packages. Further channels will also be added later on in the year to consolidate Melita’s lead in the provision of TV services in Malta.

“We have been working hard to secure new channels for our digital customer base,” continued Mr de Gabriele. “Our aim is to enhance the service offering for our customers with the introduction of channels from different content genres. More exciting channels are expected to make it to our channel line up before the end of the year as we continue with our quest to add more value to our subscribers.”
