Vodafone Malta Limited is pleased to announce new appointments in its current management structure. Joseph Muscat has been appointed as head of Mobile Plus, Sandro Pisani as head of technology and Joseph Cuschieri as head of consumer business.
“We are happy to announce these changes in our management organization,” said Inaki Berroeta, CEO of Vodafone Malta. “We have a lot of potential within Vodafone and I am certain that this new set up will ensure that we can better serve our customers.”
Ing Joseph Muscat, who held the position of Vodafone Malta’s Chief Technology Officer until recently, joined Vodafone Malta in 1990 as Engineering and Operations Manager. He is a graduate in electrical engineering from the University of Malta, a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers of UK.
Ing Sandro Pisani was educated at St Aloysius College. He obtained his electrical engineering degree from the University of Malta and went on to graduate with a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the same University. In 2001 he joined Vodafone Malta as Quality Manager. Since 2003 he has held the position of Chief Strategy Officer within the same Company and now he will be responsible for the company’s technology operations, including network performance and IT in his new role as Head of Technology.
Joseph Cuschieri is a fellow member of the Malta Institute of Accountants holding a warrant of a Certified Public Accountant and an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants – UK. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Henley Management College in the UK and is currently reading for a Doctorate in Business Administration specialising in Strategic Focus from the Edinburgh Business School in Scotland.
“These new appointments feature three professionals who over the last few years have built up a solid marketing and communications background. Their experience, combined with the academic and professional training background, makes them the ideal persons to take Vodafone’s marketing strategy and the customer experience forward over the coming years,” concluded Mr Berroeta.
