Vodafone Malta has once again lent its support to the University of Malta Engineering Students’ Association (UESA) so that it will be able to participate in the European Young Engineers (EYE) bi-annual executive meeting known as the EYE Task Force.
Held in the Engineering House of the Danish Society of Engineers in Copenhagen, a city which reflects the very best implementation of European sustainable Engineering practices; the EYE Task Force had the opportunity to visit the state of the art Danish off-shore wind-farms amongst others.
With the upcoming EYE conference to be held in Malta during the last week of October, UESA currently is presiding over this European association.
Ian Buhagiar, the present EYE President commented that “with 100 young engineers from all over Europe coming to Malta at the end of this month, the Maltese EYE conference was top on the agenda during this task force meeting. The local team has been working very hard during the last months to give our European delegates a high quality technical conference spiced up with a varied social programme.”
The theme chosen by UESA for the Maltese EYE conference is EYE at Valletta 2007 – Networking Europe through Engineering.
