The popular Saturday night prime time show Illejla produced by brainbox and hosted by Valerie Vella and Josef Bonello will be hosting Kiki Dee on tonight’s programme. Renowned for a number of musical successes including the number one hit Don’t Go Breaking my Heart with Elton John, Kiki Dee will be arriving in Malta this afternoon just hours before her live performance on Illejla which is on at 8.30pm on TVM. This special edition of the show will be broadcast in collaboration with The Ministry of Rural Affairs and the Environment from Torri l-Ahmar celebrating the planting of 9,000 trees in this area.

It has been proven in past surveys that both genres of entertainment and discussion are favourites with the Maltese audience. This year the brainbox production team decided to mix the two genres together producing a unique show which has gone down very well with TVM viewers. Apart from the fantastic line up of guests from the arena of business, entertainment and politics, Illejla is also featuring some of our leading musicians, solo artists and bands including William Mangion, Priscilla Psaila, Fabrizio Faniello, Stoned Joker, Eve Ransom, Sixth Symphoni, Bitterside, Alison Ellul, Ludwig Galea, J Anvil, Trilogy, and Scream Daisy.
