“The foundations of the Balkan Jewel project are now complete and preliminary work on the ground floor units, services and landscaping has started and is expected to be completed by March 2009.”
This was announced by Dhalia’s Marsascala branch manager Konrad Sultana following an inspection visit on site. Mr Sultana was accompanied on his visit by a group of 28 clients, guests of Dhalia Real Estate who travelled to Bansko to view the project at first hand.
The visit to Bansko was event-filled and included sightseeing at the Phillippi archaeological remains, which are just 90 minutes away by car, a trip to the Greek seaside resort of Kavala, a quad bike expedition on the mountainous terrain of the Rila Mountains, a safari trip to the Belitsa bear park, fishing in the surrounding lakes and rivers and hiking in the Pirin Mountains nature reserve. The group also had the opportunity to see the work on the adjacent 18-hole Pirin Golf Course that has been designed by Ian Woosnam (Ryder Cup captain 2006) and is expected to open towards the end of 2007.
Spread over 7,500 square metres of land, The Balkan Jewel comprises 160 apartments and various amenities, including a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a mini market, gym, sauna and children’s play area, as well as underground parking facilities. The mix of apartments includes studios and one and two-bedroom apartments, most of which enjoy stunning south-facing views of the Pirin Mountains. All apartments are being offered finished, including kitchen with appliances, under-floor heating in bathrooms, fireplace, central heating and air conditioning. In order to ensure that property management needs and letting opportunities are conducted in a professional manner, the developers Balkan Property Investments – a Dhalia-led Maltese consortium of investors – have signed an agreement with specialists Colliers International.
The Balkan Jewel is situated in the idyllic Razlog Valley, near the ski resort of Bansko in Bulgaria. The Razlog Valley area is an extremely popular location that offers endless activities all year round. It is only six km away from the ski slopes and offers an idyllic setting with stunning country and mountain views.
The success of this inspection trip has encouraged Dhalia to organise a similar one in the coming months. Any interested clients are asked to contacts Dhalia on tel 2149 0681.
