Bank of Valletta has renewed its agreement with Competitive Malta and its support for the Global Competitiveness Report of the World Economic Forum. This report is to be launched at a Bank of Valletta-supported business breakfast organised by The Malta Business Weekly on 1 November at the Phoenicia Hotel, Floriana.
The Global Competitiveness Report provides a clear indication of how Malta compares with over 100 countries in terms of its attractiveness to foreign direct investment and its capability to expand its economy over the medium to long term. As a partner of the World Economic Forum, the organisation also engages in benchmarking national economic performance in a global economy.
Besides being a member organisation of Competitive Malta, BOV is one of the primary sponsors of the foundation, and is actively involved in the discussions and initiatives held by Competitive Malta. Founded with the mission to take national competitiveness to the forefront of the national debate, Competitive Malta sets an agenda to drive Malta’s competitiveness in the major economic sectors.
