Young people, married or single, are invited to attend a “weekend with a difference” between Friday and Sunday at the Ambassador Hotel, Xemxija.

The target audience are those who are experiencing “The Dark Night of the Soul” because they find life to be really difficult and disheartening. Accepting pain and contradictions in life as part and parcel of the human condition, the youths and married couples of Moviment Era Gdida wish to invite all those who are seeking to find meaning in their lives to attend this “weekend retreat with a difference”.

It’s different because of the diversity of speakers and participants: Bro Toni Mercieca, one of the two Maltese Brothers of Mother Teresa who is working at present in Haiti among the poorest of the poor will share his experience; Fr Reno Borg SJ, together with Gordon and Josette Vassallo of the Centre of Ignatian Spirituality, Dr Michael Galea, clinical psychologist and Ms Mariella Swaine, Gestalt counsellor will all share on the reality of darkness in our life and how to cope with it.
