The Villa Brasserie Launches its business lunches

The Villa Brasserie, Balluta Bay, recently launched its business lunches by inviting a small group of people from the worlds of business, art, fashion, architecture and cuisine, in line with the Le Méridien core values.

The guests included Ms. Pamela Hansen, a freelance journalist, Ms. Claire Allen a novelist, Mr. Alan Camilleri, National Euro Changeover Committee Executive Director, Mr. Sam Mifsud Chairman at the Malta Tourism Authority, Architect Konrad Buhagiar from AOM Ltd., Mr. Christian Urpani, mosaic artist, Mr. Aldo Micallef, director of Qronfla as well as Le Méridien St Julians’ Executive Head Chef Andy Gaskin. The animated discussion included various topics including the changeover process from Maltese Lira to the Euro, the tourism industry, Valletta and its architecture as well as local cuisine.

Prices for the business lunches start at Lm4.95 including a glass of local Chardonnay or Merlot. Items on the menu include the exquisite prawn bisque accompanied by poached prawns rossi & aioli crostina, the delectable ciappatelli tossed in a duck confit & sweet potato sauce and the home-made wave of ice creams. Kicking off at 12.30hrs, the lunches are available from Monday to Friday. One can also book the private dining room for exclusive dining and for that extra touch.
